Aspiring Writer-Be Smart
It is real did I try to be a writer, may b e it worked for you though am not saying I did not make it. Numerous are the challenges I faced, the hurdles higher than I thought all longed for my zeal to make it air borne. Don not be afraid if you are an aspiring writer. Quite easy and simple to be an accomplished writer, only if you follow some few key tips.
Before the tips, let me high light the difficulties I encountered in the course of my journey. Many of these may not appear a genuine issues to you but they are given my freedom demands. Foremost am talking of an academic writer or a researcher, an article or book review specialist. Okay .back to the main concern. A no nonsense time strict boss, in fact negotiating on time limit was out of question.
My stand on several issues was sought, did I say my stand, yes, my thoughts on few current affairs. As much as I knew my boss, he would always express his choice of support in advance. With that he meant a few of his worries had to be cleared, he truly lacked supportive ideas and points to back his argumentative side. You better research widely and never be an opponent. T hat is all he wanted; A compromise to your principles. I could not!
Lest you forget this was an interview. Down to the research, and the internet came in hand I went on quoting and citing some several authors and writers. I guessed may be am out of the way, it I s my own opinion sought not any body’s else.
Just before the final full stop, there he was by my screen. “That is not what I needed, get back to it”. Still I id mailed the job to him, thoughtfully since he had just been arguing with another partner he was yet to sober up. I was totally wrong, and this was the response;” You were to write this paper off head. We are not interested in how well you can cite or use information from the Internet. At this moment, all we want to establish is your level of English and how you present your arguments. We are interested in your ideas, not other people's. Please redo this paper from scratch without using Internet.”
To a seasoned writer and publisher, this is not a form of discouragement; some body somewhere believes I can at least single handedly do something, that is a morale booster.
Now to the tips:
Love reading; As much as you would wish that work to be read be a fun of others writings will give a got on the real issues t o be addressed.
Be a master of the required writing style. there are several writing styles namely, APA, MLA, Harvard, Chicago. All use different citations. Learn how to use them in advance, seeking advice is not stupidity but prove you are ready to learn more.
Avoid plagiarism his is the exact transfer of ones syndicated ideas. It is a crime punishable by law to copy ones intellectual property. Cite where necessary.
References come in handy to prove you did not copy write. Remember, It the right reference, don’t just guess.

Kenya politics-Orange Democratic Party heading for a split
ODM party registers amid cries from the deputy party leader-Musalia Mudavadi a key presidential contender
Orange Democratic Movement party has just presented its registration papers to the registrar of parties. This is in earnest to meet the rapidly nearing deadline. And conform to the Political Parties Act 2011.Contrary to this the party would have been locked out of the next general elections. The papers have been submitted despite the key issues which have been causing jitters within the party ranks being unresolved.
The party constitution which advocates for the direct nomination of the party leader as the presidential candidate was among the documents surrendered to the registrar. This advocacy has put the two senior most at loggerheads with the deputy pushing for amendment of the clauses to be able to contest the party nomination ticket.
More rift within the party is eminent given the current disagreements. A legal committee which had been formed to iron out the amendments before the registration has failed to meet for the key deliberation. It is reported that ,a meeting called by the committee chairman failed to materialize, astonishingly with the convener failing to show up.
The Deputy leader side met single handedly, with a claim that the premier’s side is inclined to sabotaging the committees mandate. This has caused more rift, with the deputy prime minister allegedly purporting to leave the party.
China,Tiwan Partnership with Africa-Kenya
African countries’ partnership with Eastern countries
(CHINA & TAIWAN)
For quite a long time,
African countries and Kenya in particular has been relying on the western
countries for aid and development partnerships. Most of these Western countries
except the US were the economic and political colonizers of the African
continent and since the attaining of free rule, the countries continued to
majorly influence most of the operations in their former colonies. This led to
over reliance in heir support and economic aid for development which had been
pinned to economic and political influence.
Notably, the US has
also been active in this under hand manipulation. This has been witnessed
through its budgetary influence on United Nations and the World Bank More over,
since inception it has been the prerogative of the US to appoint the highly
influential World Bank president, though the recent competition being witnessed
in appointing the new president is commendable.
There is a mega shift
in the aid and development partnership towards the Eastern countries which is a
good move. Notably, China has been in the fore front to offer financial
subsidies to the Chinese companies in facilitating their imports from the east
African countries such as Kenya. The subsidies are covering commodities such as
coffee, tea and flowers. Also Kenyan exporters and companies have been granted
free exhibition spaces at trade fairs in China increasing visibility of Kenyan
goods and services. This is quite encouraging in closing the gap on foreign
trade imbalances.
In an interview with
the Business Daily, the former Chinese ambassador to Kenya, Mr Deng Hongbo
noted the China-Kenya tourism ties which have significantly addressed trade
imbalances. With more, foreign reserves, it is easier to control external
inflation pressures.
Remarkably, China has
supported a number of infrastructural development projects in Kenya. Evidently,
the transport sector has largely benefited from modern road network courtesy of
the Chinese construction companies. The Kenyan airports are also major
beneficiaries of this new found partnership.
Taiwan is another
country fostering the mutual development in Africa. This is an emerging economy
whose association will be an impetus to Kenya’s development especially in the
tourism, education and industrial sectors. Modern technology products such as
electronics from Taiwan are becoming a key feature in the Kenyan market. The
support being accorded to the Kenyan youth through Youth Alive Kenya by Taiwan
foundation for Democracy is commendable. Remarkably, democracy is the back
borne of human development and the youth being at the center and periphery of
development, this assistance will play a pivotal role in the lives of many.
